I finished my picture for my uni Godest's petpage, but I'm a complete blond when it comes to setting up a petpage. Is there anyway you guys can help me make a petpage? xD Here's the image I want to put on:

I would like it to have the picture on one side, exactly like what you have for Filuah, Laur. And could you perhaps teach me a bit so I don't feel like a complete idiot next time? xD

Haha, I just use Adobe Photoshop -> Save for Web xD So I kind of cheat a little bit too
If you want to picture on one side with the text box on the other, then you don't even have to blog it, you could just set up a table :3 Hold on, I'll get that to you in a sec.

Also how do you guys shrink your picture so that the blog doesn't cover your character, but the background itself? Am I making any sense? xD

Hehe, *is glomped* ^^ And just a thing, be sure to watch those multiple posts; I think they're against the rules or something
Secondly, do you want like a baby blue or darker light blue? (if that makes any sense at all xD)
And, er, what were you trying to get at? Could you give me the code you're using?

I was thinking of a winter light blue. Perhaps I can send you the code later today? I'm so tired from working on that picture all day today. xD But I really appreciate it! ^_^

Hm, were you looking for a text box on the actual picture, or did you only want a box on the right side of the picture?
Winter light blue... Like this? If this is what you're looking for, the hex code is D7E2FF

I wanted a text box on the other side of the picture. There's just too little space to put a scroll text box in. xD Many thanks Blossom!

Hey sorry to butt in here, but seeing as you're so awesome at coding Blossom, can you also help me out a little? I'm not as new to coding or anything, but im doing something a little different to what i usually do for Toxxita's petpage. It's not so much the actual div or anything, it's the fact that I keep adding stuff like links and text, and then i click the 'Make Changes' button, and then for some odd reason it never comes up. It shows up in the edit html section, but when i go to the page, it's not there.
It's also deleted a lot of other stuff i had on there once. Like, (I know this is lazy) but i copied all the hbc links from danseuse's page, because you had such a nice collection, and put them into a quilt of my own, but for some reason now they've all dissapeared. It started glitching before that and on the edit homepage screen bits from my petpage were actually being displayed.
I know this is long and very annoying, but I was just wondering if you'd gone through something like this recently?

Okay, I took a quick glance through the codng you used in Toxxita's page (hope you don't mind! ^^; ) and the main reason why this is happening to you is because you didn't close your '<text_area>' tags That's why everything after your first textbox is showing up inside the actual textarea. I'm not sure if this is also contributing to the problem, but you also didn't close several '<div>' tags. Be sure you always close your tags! ;D I rewrote your code for you; it should work now and you can add your navigation and quilt divs onto it ^^
Note: I changed the format of the coding a little bit to make it easier for me to read; if you want to change it back, feel free, but remember to always close your tags

Haha! thankyou so much Blossom! ^^ No I don't mind at all. See usually I work with a blog coding tutorial on this website from ages ago, and it doesn't require divs, because usually i just do the background with one text box using different coding, so the whole divs and such are new to me. I'm really surprised that that stupid son of a gun tonu didn't actually pick the textarea thing up. So much for 'A safer, cleaner Neopia' or whatever.
This is really helpful, I think maybe we should try and get a permanent coding help part of the forums so that you and other coding experts can help the rest of us out a little XD
