Aw! I love it so much! I'm not good at drawing spiders either, I just do circles with legs. I love the way you did the hair, just stunning

Looks great so far! I tend to piece art together like a puzzle as well.
I think spider is 'araignée' in French, but don't quote me on that. I may be off, since this is my first year taking French. xD As for the art, this tutorial on spiderwebs and this tutorial on spiders should help.
Also, assuming that's a black widow you're drawing, the hourglass shape is on the underbelly, so you wouldn't be able to see the spider's eyes. xB You don't have to change it, I just figured I'd point it out. We had a family of black widows outside our house once. D8 Scary.

Rae:.....umm..... Kai: Thank you ever so much! The turtorials will help a whooooole lot XD. I Think I will (againts your better judgement) take your word on the french word for spider, I have asked around my class mates and they don't have a clue (oh and they are french three students go figure D8) Also I didn't know the widow markings were under the belly thanks! -makes note not to forget that-

I did a bit of digging around in my notes, and my 'Halloween vocabulary' says its 'une araignée', but I think that would be 'the spider' or 'a spider'.
Glad I could help you. (: Like I said, we had a family of black widows outside our house at one point in time, so I got to see(and run from) them a lot. xB
