I saw something on the news about a "deformed" zorse (zebra mixed horse), and it inspired me to create a new zorse-uni character! The zorse wasn't really deformed by having extra legs or anything... but it's markings were deformed. A normal zorse would have zebra stripes all over... while this specific zorse (who by the way was bred in Germany) had no stripes around the shoulders, forelegs, withers. I thought it'd be really cool to have a deformed-marking uni zorse character... so here he is! All I need help on is his what his coloring.should be... brown-white and black or white and black? =D

Ooh, I've heard of zorses but I never considered making a character based on one - and this one is pretty good looking. xD
As far as colors, young zebras are born with brown stripes that change to black as they mature, I believe, so the coloring of those really depends on how old you want your character to be. You could always do white/cream with brown -and- black stripes. What I mean is, patches of stripes are either black or brown - like he/she was either just beginning to mature or almost fully grown.
And as far as it's main fur color, I'm going to suggest that you blend the brown and the white. (: You could also do a mainly white body with brown points or vice versa.
I just like blending things. xD

Ooh, I saw that on the news today! Pretty frickin awesome, if you ask me :3 I like this design. I think if you used a pretty dark brown on like, a cream, it would look you know, like a zorse

Wow, it's the first time I've heard about that!!! ^_^ Your idea is pretty interesting! I can't wait to see it finished! I don't know about the zorses, but I prefer to see black and white...

Thank you for the advices and comments everyone! Yes, I think zorses are around that color. I'm making mine slightly lighter so that the stripes are more visible. I think I'll go with the creamy-white-brownish color with blackish-dark brown stripes. =3

I just found out that there's another "deformed" zorse now. It's zebra on the upper neck and head... and the rest is white. I'm going to make two zorse unis... half brothers. One normal zorse and one half-white zorse. Someone should create the new almost-all-white-except-for-head zorse... since I'm not going to base anyone on that. xD

That's interesting...O: I may just have to steal that and tweak it a bit. I'm redesigning a certain someone who was -going- to have zebra stripes...I just didn't know how to make it original and cool looking. XD

Feel free to do so! xD Ooh, someone should do a rainbow zebra character like the glitches at wajas. (Wajas is a wolf-like breeding thingy on the internet.) xD
