I seem to update this girl's bio quite often. Oh, and just when you THOUGHT you knew Cora's story... read on...
By the way, YES I am making Corovan's father a character! I'm applying for a Mara Uni for his character, but regardless, he's being created. <333 -is very excited- I thought Cora deserved an update first, though.
Who I've Become
Name: Corovan Lunar-Kendis
Neopets Name: None (to be remade, perhaps?)
Nicknames: Cora
Gender: Female
Age: Mid-thirties
Race: Human/Peophin
Alliance: Lawful-Chaotic
Occupation: Streetrat, thief
Homeland: Numair, Lost Desert
Those that mean the most...
Love: Zesiro Kendis (owned by Yugi)
Preference: Males
Children: Sienna & Sethora Kendis
Status: Unmarried, but unavailable.
Personality: (Ruan speaking) Corovan grew up in the tough lane of life. She's down-to-earth, self-serving when it comes to survival, and, on the outside, not particularly warmhearted. Zes and her children have softened her hard edges, however, making her beginning to wonder if she wouldn't be happy retiring from the streets. Corovan vaguely remembers her childhood, but after being plagued by doubts and haunting voices for years, she's willingly left it behind. When she makes a promise, she would die before backing out of it. She's very sensible and listens to reason, although she can also be stubborn and muleheaded as well. She'll never admit that she needs help, and refuses to be dependent on anyone but herself.
Likes: The desert, Zesiro, Sienna & Seth, fruits, magic and the fighting arts.
Dislikes: The guards the Temple, the priests/priestesses, rain, other stallions.
Troubled Past
Mother: Duchess Alyria of Numair, a Faerie Peophin; deceased
Father: The ex-head priest of the Temple and Numair, a Peophin; still living
Siblings: None
History: When Duchess Alyria was pregnant, the city of Numair rejoiced. Finally, the duke had an heir!
The day the foal was born, however, was no day of celebration.
Alyria, who had been having an affair with the head priest of the Temple of the Gods, and advisor to the duke, was horrified when she saw her child. The foal was, obviously, not the duke's. Calling the head priest to her, she gave him the child and, mysteriously, dismissed him.
Later, the head priest was called to the main hall with the foal. Alyria charged him with indecency against his religious order, as evidenced by the foal, but did not admit her own guilt. She had bribed the midwife, the only other Neopet who had seen the foal, to remain silent. The duke saw only the head priest's fault, and thus dismissed him from the palace. The Temple removed all honors and titles from the stallion and turned him out, with the foal, for his trespasses.
Disgraced, the stallion finally took up residence in one of the worst parts of the city. The child, which he called Corovan, lived with him until she was an older child. During the years, Corovan suffered much abuse at the hooves of her father, who felt nothing but bitter memories when he saw her. One day, during the Great Plague, Corovan's father, who had fallen ill to the plague and whose temper had finally reached a boiling point, drove her out.
Thus, Corovan took to the streets.
Years of living under a hard father had made her quick and wary. She was a natural thief, but she was also haunted and hardened. The only joy she found was in her thieving. She's a small and stout pony, but you have to be if you're going to be a Numair thief. Corovan's gotten into a lot of brawls, and most of them she's won.
Cora lived a wild life, until she met Zes and had twins, which sobered her up a lot. She does everything in her will to stay away from the other stallions, for though she is not married, she feels loyal to her only beloved. As she has no notion of how to properly raise children, and could not give them a proper life, she decided to hand them over to the priests and priestesses in the Temple of the Gods. She dislikes the Temple because the priests and priestesses often look down on her for having bastards. Had it not been for their astounding Gifts, both magically and fighting (for Sienna) and book-learning (for Seth), they might not have taken in the twins at all, but nonetheless, Cora is pleased with the progress her children have made, and visits them often.
Corovan had denied living with Zesiro initially because she enjoyed her life as a streetrat too much. She abandoned her children because she was scared of the responsibility. Now, her decisions are coming back to haunt her. She feels she has betrayed her children, who are now young adults, really, and turned her back on the stallion she loves most. She feels she is willing to retire from the streets, marry Zes, and take her children away from the Temple. She is also feeling vulnerable because her eyesight is steadily worsening, but her stubbornness makes it hard to admit to anyone that she cannot be entirely dependent on herself.
As for her parents, Corovan tries not to think about them. She does not know who her mother is, but she does remember her father, although she does not know if he is alive (he is, by the way). She is afraid what would happen if she would ever meet him - both for herself and for him.

Suddenly Love (All'improvviso amore)
As sung by Josh Groban
(Translation)
The wind that softly blows
Tonight is changing my destiny
And I feel that my heart will be surprised
Once again
Life has more sense, now
If I watch this immense sky
And the loving moon will brighten up with me
And will be...
Suddenly Love, like the sea
Flooding my heart and my soul
And will save me
It will be natural like breathing
And the air will talk me of you
Now everything is different
I breathe of you in the universe
Your eyes are two stars in the darkness
Suddenly Love, like the sea
Flooding my heart and my soul
And will save me
It will be natural like breathing
And will be true love healing my heart
Will rise the Light inside of me!
