RP for Daffodil (myself) and Nero (Yugi). Time for a reunion! Oh and Yugi, if you'd rather RP in human form we can do that too. =D Just let me know. Of course, Daffodil didn't come down to Neopia very often nowadays.
To her credit, though, it was becoming increasingly more and more difficult to revisit her old home and explore the land she once knew so well. Having children and living in a different dimension did that to you. And although she had tried to ignore it at first, Daffodil could no longer deny that living so long in the Limbo was having its effects. Traveling between dimensions was not so easy as it had once been.
But anyway, it seemed odd in hindsight that today - on one of the few days she took to return to Neopia - she would decide to come to Neovia. A certain curiousity, however - reminiscent of her youth, perhaps - had drawn Daffodil to the strange, small town. She had not been around when Neovia had been discovered to the whole of Neopia, and on her excursions into Neopia she simply hadn't taken the time to explore the village.
This was about to be remedied.

Nero had almost forgotten what it was like to be outside of the walls of Aquari Palace.
She had spent too many days catering to the whims of the Council, overseeing the actions of the Guardians, organizing the Queen's appointments, and on top of all of that, being the mother of one Kelright Chorevo. Needless to say, she hadn't resisted when Aryn pushed her out the main door as the other mare demanded she go on holiday for awhile.
The problem was Nero couldn't remember what vacation meant. It had been so long since she had done anything on a whim, much less outside of the city she had been calling home for quite some time. So she did what anyone else in her position would do---work on her holiday.
Aquari had all but severed itself from the lands of Neopia. Immigrants were few and far between these days, though foreign venders and general travelers were still able to enjoy an extended stay behind the city's walls. Very little, and many times very vague information came through about Neopia nowadays, as many wished to forget their homeland for awhile while doing some "vacationing" of their own.
So of course she took it on herself to explore the world that she too, used to call home. And goodness, had it ever changed. The mare sighed as she traversed the old streets of Neopia Central. Tired of the nostalgia, she continued until she stumbled upon a sign.
"Neovia?" she blinked, giving the sign a once-over. This was something new. She would have to visit and obtain information to catalog in their database at the palace.
She trotted down the dirt path, unaware of the adventure to come.
(It's your call, Ruan! xD I honestly don't mind either way. I suppose whatever form they need at the moment?)

ooc | Haha I was just asking because I know sometimes you prefer human. =) Also I love how Nero can't think of anything but work, even when she's on vacation. XD
ic | The moment Daffodil entered Neovia, she was instantly charmed by its dark, elegant appearance. She nodded at a well-dressed couple that passed, returning the gentleman's tip of the hat. In fact, nearly everyone she passed was like that - a little "G'day, my lady" or quick "Hello" seemed to be normal in Neovia. Despite the rather gloomy fog and subdued colors, the people walked about with happy faces. Daffodil also highly admired their fashion sense - she would definitely have to pick up some outfits before she returned to the Limbo!
Speaking out outfits... As Daffodil passed through an open-air market, a stall run by a sweet-looking plump Cybunny caught her eye. All homesewn clothes, miss! the Cybunny said cheerfully as Daffodil stopped to admire her wares.
They're beautiful, Daffodil said, taking down a sky-blue dressing and admiring its color against her.
Why, thank you kindly, the Cybunny replied, beaming. Without hesitation, Daffodil handed over a handful of Neopoints, and was soon walking down the market again, this time with a bag swinging across her shoulder, humming to herself. Perhaps she should pick up some clothes for the children as well while she was out...

((Lol, that's Nero for you. xD And pardon me for my fail, but I wanted to breathe some life into this!))
Nero entered Neovia a little more flustered than she would have liked.
If she had known she would have to traverse through the Haunted Woods to arrive in the little town, she would have thought better of this little expedition. She continued through the gates and into the marketplace, taking care to return the greetings of all of the kind townsfolk.
She perused the stalls, looking for some souvenirs as a victory of braving the eerie environment. A cheery Shoyru called her over to his stall, and she obliged, but not before colliding with an unsuspecting citizen.
"Oh dear, I am so terribly sorry!" Nero collapsed to the ground, scrambling to pick up the the 'pet's belongings.
First day out on the town, and she causes a scene! Or, her version of a scene. She gathered everything she could and quickly handed the items over.
She desperately needed some strong tea.

Daffodil's attention was wrought over to a slight ruckus across the street as she finished her purchase of the dress and stepped away from the stall. Some other Peophin had collided with another Neopet and was hurriedly picking up his scattered items. The Peophin looked horribly flustered as she scrambled to retrieve the items. She also looked... oddly familiar... Daffodil searched her mind quickly, like someone flipping through a catalogue. So familiar...
Daffodil felt some pity well up in her as she watched the poor Peophin. Once she was done picking up the Neopet's items, Daffodil crossed the road so that she was standing beside the other Peophin. My dear, excuse me, but are you... Daffodil suddenly stopped short. Now that she was this close to the Peophin, recognition came in an exhilarating rush. ...Nero?! Daffodil exclaimed, taking a step back and almost tripping off the sidewalk.

Nero sighed, and gathered herself to stand. Within seconds, she heard a voice calling out to her. Surely no vender would call out to a clumsy mess like herself?
She looked around, and was met with a mutual shock. Surprised, she stumbled backward, narrowly missing a vender's stall. Luck was still playing with her, as it seemed.
"Daff?" She mustered her voice out of her shock, "What are you doing in this glum place?"
A few of the townsfolk glared after her remark, but she was beyond caring now. She had found a friend in this strange land! She could practically jump for joy if she wouldn't elicit even more attention from the bystanders.

Nero! Fyora bless, it is you! Daffodil cried, leaping forward to envelop her old friend in a hug (and completely ignoring both of their bags). Laughing, Daffodil pulled back to take a better look at the Peophin. What she saw shocked her slightly--why, how old Nero looked! Last time Daffodil had seen Nero, they had both been mere fillies, dallying about on wild adventures with hardly a care for the future.
It seemed ruthless reality had caught up to both of them. Goodness me, Nero, how have you been? Daffodil asked breathlessly.
