Epehn sipped her tea delicately, its warmth soothing her soul. She couldn't help but wish there would happen to be a stage behind the curtains where a poetry reading would take place as she settled further into the cushion she had chosen. She heard the mysterious voice from somewhere out of sight beckoning for the next client and secretly wished it didn't have to be her. She eyed the young orange filly boiling more water, wondering if she sat still enough the young receptionist wouldn't notice her. Of course she highly doubted it, but a mare can dream, right? She took a few large gulps to finish the delicious tea, careful not to catch any of the other mares' eyes.

The sweet voice from within made Tai look up. Perking up her hears, she turned to focus on Epehn.
"In you go!" She said happily, collecting the mare's empty cup of tea, "Have fun." She said with a wink before wisking the cup away behind the cabinet.

Anet sat quietly at her table, gazing deeply into the crystal ball, awaiting her next client, as she had already advised Tai to lead them inside.

Epehn finally resigned to the fact that she WAS next and there was no point trying to deny it now as she headed towards the purple drapes. She exhaled deeply before pushing through the curtain into the room beyond. She was once again amazed at all she saw... never had such a place created so much wonder in her. Her magenta eyes scanned the starry ceiling as her body moved her forward towards the table and the crystal ball. She hadn't even registered the mare sitting on the other side for how transfixed she was with her surroundings.

The cold raindrops pattered on the empty street outside, collecting in the gutters and running down into the metal drains that lined the block. They soaked into the patches of lush green grass decorating the neightborhood but beaded easily off the wavy feathers of the slender Penniger making his way down the block.
The stallion lifted his sleek head to the nebulous sky for a moment, but lowered it quickly as the rain stung his golden eyes. Shaking the rain from his gold-flecked back, he stopped, suddenly looking hesitent. He eyed the sign for the fortune teller with more than a little apprehension, then planted his hooved down on the wet pavement.
"Well, get going, then." Said a voice behind the stallion. He toppled forward as a strong head butted him playfully. As he stumbled, a hearty chuckle rang through the cold air.
The voice belonged to a sharply dressed skunk mare who looked down at her companion with an expression of fond trickery. She smirked, lowering her elegant head to nuzzle her friend.
"No harm done, I hope." She said with a smile, "But we really mustn't dawdle. This rain isn't good for my jacket." Tossing her luxurious black and white curls, she strode confidently towards the building.
The stallion snuffled indignantly and hurried after his friend. However, he slowled continuously the farther up the stairs they got. He was shaking a little by the time the mare opened the door. His nerves were killing him, but they were immediately lessened the moment he was barreled into by a small orange ball of excitement.
"Uncle Toby, Aunt Taro! I didn't know you were coming!"
"We thought you might like it to be a surprise." Said Taro with a chuckle. She nuzzled Tairrow affectionately on the head before going over to drape herself across some unoccupied pillows in the corner.
"It's good to see you, Tai." Tobias said with a smile. He, however, was not nearly as comfortable in the place. It hadn't taken him long to notice he was the only male there. Looking over to Taro, who winked unsupportively, he sighed and took up a post by the door, hoping to get this over with quickly.

Madam Anet cleared her throat and gazed into the crystal ball, eager to get through this client, as she saw that many more still awaited her services. Peering deeper into the swirling clouds, she looked up at Epehn, rosy eyes glittering. M'dear, you like the other young mare are curious about a certain someone? I don't believe that it is love, but it is something that you'd be eager to try...something that your mind has been playing with? Anet foresaw, smiling gently. Come, whisper their name in my ear, dear. Anet leaned foreward, eager to help out.

Epehn nodded slowly, "Yes. I do not believe it can ever be love, but I do have a secret attraction." The beautiful mare leaned over the table, her muzzle right next to the fortune teller's ear.. She was determined to make sure she contained her foolish desires to only this one set of ears and not all the others in the waiting room. "The stallion's name is...."

Anet bowed her head gently and searched deep within her crystal ball. I am sorry, dearest. But it appears that this stallion already has his heart set on a damsel...I do wish you the best of luck... Anet watched quietly as the nebulaic mare sauntered off. I'll take the next guest, Tai, dear!

Perhaps we should resurrect this to maybe get this place to be a little more active?

Well, I'm not sure. This one seems to have fallen into the abyss, so perhaps I will start a new one. I think I'll go do that now instead of doing homework.
