Well, I didn't know quite where to post this, but I figured I should ask you, as you're all roleplayers (that's why we're here xD), so you like reading/writing (most likely... )
So here's the deal. Some of you might know I've written a story called "The Golden Knights", it's a trilogy and I have a handful of pictures related to it in my DA gallery. I was quite fond of some characters, so I've adapted them to Peophin forms. And that's how Méri and Elinda showed up!
The thing is, I've recently thought I should start writing again and, for that, I usually need some time to hatch the idea. I was unsure about creating new characters because I was still very attached to Elinda, Méri and their entire universe.
So I decided I could make a new story with them! I've learnt with that story that, as long as you have a character and the character has a goal, the story will flow by itself.
If you've seen a recent deviation called "The Blooded Rabbit", you already know a bit of the new trilogy I'm up to. And if you've read the comment, you already know that the Blooded Rabbit is a charm that protects children.
Not wanting to reveal all the story, Elinda has kids at the end of The Golden Knights and they'll be some of the main characters of this new trilogy that'll most likely be called The Blooded Rabbit.
Now, here's my question. The Golden Knights is a story based on fantasy and an intricate plot. It's an adventure, with Elinda and her group solving mysteries, traveling and battling. There's a bit of romance, but it's basically the story of how Elinda fights for her dream and how life can be much more than that.
But with The Blooded Rabbit, the universe to explore will be much different. It'll be basically exploring mother-son relationship, what parents will do for the offspring, how love can strike anyone, how love can change people... It'll come with a plot that's based of love and greed (sp???), but I haven't quite explored it all.
So this last trilogy will be more of a romance instead of fantasy/adventure, the kind of thing that guys don't read xD
Do you think I should try to go for this new style, so different from the previous trilogy? Won't this be kinda "disappointing" for someone who expects a new plot like the previous one from The Golden Knights?
I figured I could ask for your opinion...
Woa, this was a big post... o.O
